Music Unsung

Vanden Plas, overshadowed by the likes of Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree. Don’t get me wrong, those two bands are great, but seldom in the prog world, do I hear of Vanden Plas. These guys have consistently “wowed” me with every album they release. If you’re looking for real, heart felt prog music, this band is it.


The song opens with piano that is full of sorrow. The violins kick in, adding the desperate connotation of the songs intro. What follows is 8 minutes of an absolutely brilliant blend of guitar, symphony, and the commanding vocal presence of Andy Kuntz.
